History

The West Highlands subdivision originally broke ground in 1996. Developers had 4 phases of building finally completed in the early 2000s. While the developer of the subdivision recorded restrictions for each phase as it was developed, the West Highlands Homeowner’s Association (WHNA) was not established by the developers of West Highlands Subdivision, nor at the time of any of the Phases situated therein. Consequently, every lot within every phase of West Highlands Subdivision may not become a member of the proposed association and subject to the terms and conditions of the Articles of Incorporation of West Highlands Neighborhood Association, Inc. Our goal is to maintain the 75% of occupied homes; this can only increase as new members join. The WHNA membership 'runs with the land' so future home owners of current WHNA member homes will automatically become WHNA members. Eventually, hopefully, a 100% membership can be established.
